I am Brian Johnson and I LOVE CUPCAKES AND PIZZA! While I specialize in helping you get back on track and achieve your goals, I am a real person. I know what it is like to put on 60 pounds, and the struggle to take off the 60 pounds from drowning life’s stress and emotions with cupcakes and pizza. As an emotional eater, I can relate to those moments when nothing but the things I shouldn’t eat seem like just the thing to make me feel better. Luckily for you, I have many fancy titles and a lifetime of education that I use to help you make better choices, get back on track and get through those low moments that we all have. We are human, and none of us are perfect all the time. This is my approach. It’s simple. You need to be armed with knowledge that helps you gain new focus, gives you the tools you need and help you change the behaviors that are not getting you where you want to be.
I grew up with a home gym, working out with my father and loved playing basketball, football and running track. Going into college, I decided to make this a career. I focused on a degree in sports management and biomechanics. My love for fitness continued, and that led me into a 8 years of working my way up the corporate ladder at 24 Hour Fitness. It did not take long for me to figure out what my real goal was, and that was to help people with their lives and their quality of life. Developing an easy to follow program that helped people with this goal, I entered the corporate wellness market with a simple plan that anyone can follow. Through education, compassion and tough love, I teach people an easy to follow plan with two components they can implement at any point in their life. What are those two components? Nutrition and activity.
With this goal in mind I turned my focus corporate wellness thus starting my own company which is where my program began to take off like a rocket. Over the years, I have worked directly with both doctors’ and chiropractors’ patients immediately after surgery assisting in the rehabilitation process for spinal fusions, prosthetic limbs and joints, and type 1 and 2 diabetics. The experience working with special conditions, gave me a unique skill set to apply to general conditioning, muscle gain and fat loss.
All that sounds real impressive, but the proof is in the pudding (or Cupcakes and pizza). We all have pitfalls, but my program has armed my clients with the knowledge and the tools to recover quickly, and they are achieving their goals. One meal at a time, one day at a time.
